The operas of Giuseppe Verdi are a mainstay of the operatic repertoire. This season the MET features three of Verdi’s major works: Rigoletto, Il Trovatore, and Aida. This course examines each of these from a historical perspective through the current season, showcasing some of the extraordinary singers and their artistry that continues to enthrall audiences. Come join us for these mornings of beautiful music which will transport us for the rest of the day!
